A semi-professional wrestler in Pinellas Park, FL., allegedly offered a $100 reward on his Facebook page to the first person willing to kill the officer that pulled over the car he was riding in.
According to ABC Action News, the Pinellas Park officer pulled over a Ford Mustang that Bruce Allen Santee II, 35, rode in about 2:45 a.m. Sunday after its driver failed to obey a yield sign, police said. The driver, a woman, was taking Santee and another man home because they were intoxicated. The officer found the woman had an expired license and made the group arrange another ride home.
During the stop, police said, Santee argued with the officer, allegedly calling him a “pig.”
Pinellas PD posted the following on their Facebook page, after Santee was released from the scene he took to Facebook and posted threats against one of our officers. These threats included Santee offering $100 to anyone who would kill our police officer. Santee did post the police officers name.
Santee was released this morning from the Pinellas County Jail after posting bond.
The post was brought to the attention of Pinellas Park by an off-duty officer from another jurisdiction.
