Zuckerberg is being sued by real estate developer Mircea Voskerician. Zuckerberg went on a buying spree back in 2012 to gobble up the undeveloped land surrounding his Crescent Park pad. He spent $43 million to buy four lots near his home.
According to Voskerician, Zuckerberg made an agreement with him to introduce Voskerician to other wealthy individuals who might also want to buy homes, in exchange for his stake in a prime lot.
The lawsuit claims Zuckerberg never followed through with the agreement.
The lawsuit states: "Zuckerberg stated he did not want construction in his backyard for 14 months and told Voskerician that he would refer him business and make him introductions if, in exchange, Voskerician would help him secure his privacy."
According to the report, the parties never signed off on a written contract although there were witnesses to the agreement.
Zuckerberg's attorney said the meeting "is unrecognizable to my client," adding that "the claim here is just meritless, plain and simple."
