I have been having troubles installing this. It will show the Ubuntu/Xubuntu installation screen in Windows XP, and I tried to install it with Wubi. However, I couldn't manage to get it to complete the installation, nor boot off the disc. I have 256 MB RAM, an Intel Pentium 4 processor, a CD reading drive, and a DVD/DVD-RW/CD/CD-RW (et cetera) drive, which is pretty good.
It just sorta freezes. Its as if all the system resources are taken up, but if I press the Num lock key (or any other of the * lock keys), about 5-10 minutes later the little light turns on.
It doesn't seem to be doing anything.
The installation checker can't seem to finish.
