LAN will only work with 1000 Gbps mode.

On board NIC won't work for install. I had to install a separate NIC for installation. Drivers included with the system for Linux only support NIC in 1000 Mbps mode.

Works great with Ubuntu Intrepid or Debian Lenny (& Squeeze)
If Linux hangs on boot showing "Probing EDD" append "edd=off" to kernel options.
No acceleration for onboard graphics with free driver.
