We don't know about you, but the built-in Calculator in Windows has always satisfied our basic math needs. If you use Calculator frequently, then here are seven ways to launch Calculator to fit your needs.

1: Open Calculator With the Start Menu

While the most obvious choice, using the Start Menu, makes accessing the Calculator simple if your Start Menu is alphabetical and not cluttered.

2: Open Calculator by Pinning It to Start or Taskbar

Press the Windows Key + S and begin typing in calculator until you see Calculator. Right-click and select either Pin to Start or Pin to taskbar.

3: Open Calculator With a Desktop Shortcut

Right-click on an empty space on your desktop. Choose New > Shortcut.

In the next Window, paste %WinDir%\System32\calc.exe and click Next. Name the new shortcut Calculator and click on Finish.

If you change your mind later, you can delete this shortcut.

4: Open Calculator With a Keyboard Shortcut

First, you need to create a Desktop shortcut by following Step 3. Right-click on your new shortcut and select Properties. Choose any one letter or number, and you will see that you can use that letter or number with CTRL + ALT to open the Calculator.

In other words, if you press M, then you can open Calculator anytime by pressing CTRL + ALT + M.

5: Open Calculator With the Run Command

Press the Windows Key + R and type in calc, then enter.

6: Open Calculator With PowerShell

Similar to Step 2, if you frequently have PowerShell open, type in calc anytime to open Calculator.

7: Open Calculator With Cortana Search

Click on Cortana and type in calc, and click on Calculator.
