How to Permanently Delete Your Instagram Account
By Timothy Tibbetts |
Instagram currently does not provide a way to delete your account in your Instagram app or desktop settings. Instead, you can disable your account temporarily once a week. If you're sure you want to delete your Instagram account, here's what you need to do.
Like Instagram, we should mention that disabling your account is a better choice if there's even a remote chance you'll change your mind. Click Edit Profile, and you can disable your account there.

To permanently delete your account, you need to go to the Instagram Delete Your Account page. They really don't want you to leave.
1: Click the dropdown box to select a reason for deleting your account.
2: Enter your password.
3: Click Permanently delete my account.

A popup will next appear, asking you if you're sure. Click, yes, and your Instagram account will be deleted.
