Cheap Cable Storage

By Timothy Tibbetts

on 06/15/2023

You don't have to be a computer geek to have a collection of cables lying around. If you're anything like us, we've got HDMI, various smartphone cables, and even some cables we don't know what they are. Here's a free way to organize your cables and cords.

Find a box that can hold all of your cables.

Now comes the time-consuming part. You're going to need to go to the bathroom - a lot.

Start saving your empty toilet paper rolls and put your cables inside. You might use a couple of rubber bands or twist ties to tighten everything up.

As you can see, odds are when you find the same cables; you can put a few into a single roll.

You can get a little creative and even add a divider.

I'm not sure how I've lived without this idea. The next time you need a cable, you'll know where to find one, or even if you have one without turning your house upside down.
