Restore Accidentally Closed Browser Tabs

By Timothy Tibbetts

on 06/15/2023

We often complain about how much resources our favorite web browser uses, but sometimes some features make it worth the effort when you need it, like when you accidentally close a tab or tabs.

The next time you accidentally close a tab, click Ctrl+Shift+T.

You can do this as many times as you like to open all of your recently closed tabs! Go ahead and open a few tabs and give it a try.

This is one of those settings, if you haven't noticed it before, that's been hiding in plain sight. Right-click next to any tab and you'll notice Reopen closed tab Ctrl+Shift+T.

How many times this would have come in handy.
