How to Silence Unknown Callers on iPhones
By Timothy Tibbetts |
If you get numerous unrecognized numbers (scams) and have an iPhone, you can block unknown calls. Here's how.
Let's understand what happens when you decide to block unrecognized numbers. We all have a new number that's not recognized at some point in time, but not to worry.
All unrecognized phone calls are only silenced. They are automatically sent to voicemail and displayed on your recent calls list to see who called or listen to the voicemail if one is left.
Silence unknown callers is off by default.
Click on Settings on your iPhone.
Scroll down to Phone.
Click on Unknown Callers.
Toggle Silence Unknown Callers on or off.

That's it! Remember to check your recent callers and voicemail occasionally.
