Alternate Chord allows you to exercise your fingers and learn basic guitar chords and scales along with a handy playback option.

The program comes equipped with a set of chords and scales, but you can also extend them with your own custom notes. To use the chords provided, select one of the base note buttons (or 'all' for all base notes) and navigate the many available chords/scales.

You also have many choices in output instruments to choose from; this allows you to select the particular instrument you are actually practicing with - this will make the process more familiar - learning on bass? Choose the bass guitar output, etc.

All chords/tones can be played using the MIDI interface.

Alternate Chord can prove to be very useful to beginners trying to get a grasp on finger placement and established players that may be just a bit rusty and in need of a refresher.
