Artpip will show a new piece of featured art for your desktop every day in Ultra-HD 4K resolution.

All artworks are available in Ultra-HD 4K resolution. Artworks are stored on their servers, meaning it takes up little space on your computer. That said, Artpip runs three processes using up approximately 10-18 MB. One process is probably to download the images from their servers, the one negative for us because many people won't want an app as simple as a background changer phoning home. Lower resolution, local images should have been the move here, especially given that this app is over 60 MB.

While it is free, they do offer everything you see for sale, not for your desktop but art delivered to your door. You can order anything you like as a poster, print or even canvas. Prices range from around 14 bucks to almost 150 bucks depending on the size.

Overall, Artpip is a neat app for those who love fine art. I'm more of a Michael Godard fan myself, but I wouldn't come to me for art advice.
