Asteroids is a remake of the classic game that is free and portable.

Ironically, this remake was released in 2001 and abandoned, so we thought we'd make it available here. To play the game, double-click the executable to extract the files to a folder of your choice. No software is needed to extract the files. Double-click Asteroids.exe to play.

You can view the controls and anti-aliasing in the settings found on the top-right. Your arrow keys and space bar will get you started, and gamepads are supported.

That's it. Asteroids is a simple but well-made remake that should provide hours of fun.
