It is set up to allow any skill level user to secure their machine from some different online privacy threats. When you first open Avira Privacy Pal, you are greeted with a privacy status percentage which gives you an idea of how secure your machine is. You have three privacy protection options to choose from; Basic, Enhanced, and Personalized. Enhanced being the most aggressive in scope. The Personalized option permits you to toggle on or off the specific protection areas like browser cache, cookies, chat logs, browsing/download history to name a few.
