What is Certificate Revocation List Check Tool?

Certificate Revocation List Check Tool to automatically verify CRL (Certificate Revocation List) and OCSP (Online Certificate Status Protocol) internet reachability of all your EXE files that your client runs.

What Does it Do?

Certificate Revocation List Check Tool is designed to enhance security by performing several key functions related to executable files (EXE). It can scan your client for EXE files and examine their code-signing certificates. The tool also searches for the relevant CRL to determine whether it can be downloaded. It validates the integrity of the certificate chain, checks both the certificate and CRL for expiration dates, and can export a comprehensive list of all gathered information as a file. Additionally, it cross-references to ensure you are not using any revoked certificates, helping maintain a secure environment.

Certificate Revocation List Check Tool is designed to collect executables (*.exe) from well-known paths on your client. It checks whether each file is digitally signed with a certificate, then retrieves the CRL and the OCSP for each signed file it finds. It then checks whether the client can successfully request and download the file from the Internet.

Tons of Features, Busy Interface

In addition to the main features, there are several other valuable options and links available. These include a WAN Speedtest, access to the Control Panel, Power Options, File Explorer settings, and more, all designed to enhance your experience and optimize performance. The interface is very busy, so it will take you a minute to get used to it. There are some helpful hints available on the dev's site.

Geek Verdict

Certificate Revocation List Check Tool is your ultimate solution for effortlessly verifying the internet reachability of CRL and OCSP for all EXE files executed by your clients. Ensure security and peace of mind with automatic checks that keep your digital environment safe and efficient.

Editor's Note:
Certificate Revocation List Check Tool does get a couple hits on VirusTotal, and you may get a warning from your antivirus that the file isn't commonly downloaded.
