ChameleonMark is a performance tool for measuring pixel shader performance for a variety of shaders. Project has been abandoned.
ChameleonMark is based upon the popular Chameleon demo released by NVIDIA with the introduction of the GeForce3 line of GPUs.
The test uses three of the Chameleon skins. These are the real, shiny and glass skins. The test for each skin is run separately.
There is a RUN folder with scripts to run each skin at multiple resolutions (1024x768x32, 1280x1024x32, and 1600x1200x32). Each script will take several seconds to load so; please be patient.
After each run, the performance results are written to a file called fps.txt. Please note that this file is put in the binaries folder. Each run will append two lines of information to this file. For example, after running the chameleon_bmark_shiny script in the 12x10x32 folder, the following lines are appended to the fps.txt file:
