CPUBench calculates the speed of the CPU by performing 12 tests. Project has been abandoned.

These tests include a diversity of floating-point and integer calculations including MFLOPS, MIPS, PI, Lorenz, Dhrystone, Whetstone etc.

Many of these tests originate from old and more recent benchmark tests that were designed for supercomputers and mini`s. Some are well-known, some are unknown.

To compensate for limitations of each individual benchmark, an overall score is calculated. 

This overall score was not intended to be a benchmark number but it can be used as such.
