Default Programs Editor is a portable freeware app that can help you reset any broken file associations, including default programs, context menu, icons, autoplay, and much more.

Because there are so many File Associations, Default Programs Editor offers three categories when you run the app.

File type settings - Default program, context menu, descriptions, and icons

Autoplay settings - Add, edit, or remove autoplay handlers

Default program settings - Add or remove registered default programs and change assigned types

If you don't find what you're looking for, you can click cancel or the back arrow to go back to find another category.

Default Programs Editor is free, small, portable, and it can manage any of your broken file association problems or even add or remove them.
