Emsisoft Decrypter for Gomasom is designed to counteract the Gomasom (GOogle MAil ranSOM) family of ransomware.

Attacks are executed via remote desktop as well as targeted email campaigns. This ransomware is more often seen targeting companies and their servers but that is not a guarantee. It will encrypt and rename files to a *.crypt extension. Gomasom to date hasn't presented any ransom notes, but the encrypted files do include an email address for obtaining decryption details.
