In Glest, you are in charge of building up your armies to face off and defeat your rival.

The armies you control are comprised of two skilled factions, Tech, which is mainly warriors and mechanical devices, and Magic, that prefers the magical arts where creatures can be summoned to the battlefield.

Bundled with the two distinct factions and a handful of maps, Glest was originally a square-off between the Magic and Tech factions, but later expanded and now boasts dozens of mods. You can create your own maps, techs, tilesets, etc.
