Hot is a macOS menu bar application that displays the CPU speed limit due to thermal issues.

CPU throttling is one technique for PC power management where the frequency of a microprocessor can be automatically adjusted to conserve power and reduce the amount of heat generated by the chip. 

Hot is designed to check if the chip's processing power is being throttled to avoid damaging the unit due to unsafe temperatures. It is capable of displaying your CPU's speed limit and the processor's temperature. If the limit drops below the set percentage, Hot will colorize the menu bar text giving you a visual alert.

Version History for Hot:
-Specific sensors can now be ignored from the Preferences window (Choose Sensors)
-You can use this feature to disable damage sensors with inaccurate readings
