Intel-SA-00086 Detection Tool can detect if your computer is vulnerable to the Intel Management chip security flaw known as INTEL-SA-00086.

Intel-SA-00086 Detection Tool has two folders in the zip file:

The DiscoveryTool.GUI folder is for most end-users. Intel-SA-00086-GUI.exe in this folder has a graphical user interface (GUI) making it easy to execute and test your computer.

The DiscoveryTool folder has a command-line version, Intel-SA-00086-console.exe, for IT and server admins to check multiple computers across your network.

Should your computer be vulnerable, a link is provided to find your computer or motherboard manufacturer to update your firmware.

Intel-SA-00086 Detection Tool does not relate to the Spectre and Meltdown Vulnerabilities, but specifically the Intel Management Engine.
