Kaspersky Update Utility is a freeware app for downloading updates for any installed Kaspersky Lab products.

Kaspersky Update Utility is portable and includes two ways to run - with the GUI (UpdateUtility-Gui.exe) or command-line (UpdateUtility-Console.exe). You can select any Kaspersky apps installed from dozens of possibilities including the home user all the way up to commercial products. The ability to download something you don't have, like Kaspersky Rescue disk, would be a nice feature.

Any Kaspersky apps you have will be listed, and you can select them and click on Start. Optionally, you can schedule updates manually or by minutes, hours, days or weeks.

Finally, you have the settings tab which allows you to save reports, download locations, start with Windows, and more.

Kaspersky Update Utility initially called Kaspersky Updater was a command-line prompt tool back in the day. Now it has a GUI making it easy for anyone to use but cannot download an app you're lacking. Because of this, it's geared more towards IT professionals and server admins.
