Last Car Standing is an indie developed free game where you need to take out the other cars on the track.

From the intro screen, you can choose screen resolution, windowed, quality and input devices. You can decide to take down 1-16 cars, although on a very high-end gaming machine, just moving the slider to 16 cars slows the computer to a crawl.

The game is really a simple time waster with some pretty tough physics to deal with. The graphics are decent as well. We suggest getting the most out of the game by looking under controls before you start and know how to use handbrake, jump, boost, camera angles or more. You're going to need it.

That said we couldn't find a pause button, but R will restart. At one point, our front end was gone, and we just sat on the track with nothing to do for a few minutes before we had to restart. Taking a curve wrong can destroy your car if on a bank. In some games, we found it easier to let the other cars take each other out due to the difficult physics.

Last Car Standing could use some work, but it is called a prototype and considered incomplete at this point. An arcade mode would make it more fun for us. That said, it's free, requires no installation and some will find it a fun time waster. Hopefully, development continues.
