Lullaby for an Electric Toaster is a 3D horror/action game where you, as a flaming-toast-launching electric toaster must find your way across a dark and bizarre kitchen dreamscape.
As bizarre as it sounds, that only means we wanted to try it more. The game reminds us of a side-scroller in some ways. You can move in all directions, and the goal is to stay up high if you can. Hit the ground, and it's going to be lights out. The game is dark (who turned out the kitchen lights?) but firing your toaster sends bread flying and lights up the nearby area like flares. They are also flaming traps to catch enemies that are up high.
There are unlimited levels, and you regenerate health over time, but so do the monsters.
We have to admit, Lullaby for an Electric Toaster is a silly name and a silly idea. Even crazier is that this little game was created in a week for a game design contest. We think you'll enjoy it, at least for a little while.
