Nauz File Detector is a portable app for finding information about a specific file.

Nauz File Detector is small and uses very little memory. You can browse to open any file or folder when you run the app. After selecting a file, you will automatically see any available information, including linker, compiler, language, library, and tool.

You can click on heuristic scan or all types to retrieve more information.

The options include three categories; Appearance, File, and Scan, covering everything you might need. For example, you can always leave the app on top, save the last directory, add to the context menu, set your default scan options, etc.
