NVR Viewer allows you to view live feeds from NVRs, DVRs, or IP cameras directly on a Windows device, eliminating the need for the manufacturer's software.
NVR Viewer employs the Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF) standard for connectivity, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of surveillance devices. For Hikvision devices, NVR Viewer features automatic ISAPI fallback, which activates when ONVIF is not enabled, allowing users to still view individual camera feeds seamlessly. You have the flexibility to display all camera feeds simultaneously arranged in a tiled mosaic format, making it easy to monitor multiple feeds at a glance.
Adding devices to NVR Viewer is straightforward; users simply need to provide the device's IP address, the ONVIF port, along with the required username and password. The software automatically discovers all cameras connected to the selected device, simplifying setup and configuration.
NVR Viewer is primarily designed for live viewing and does not include recording or video storage. This focus on real-time observation makes it an excellent tool for monitoring security environments.
This innovative software eliminates the necessity for manufacturer-specific software, streamlining the viewing process for users.

You can manage your connections through HTTP or HTTPS, adding an extra layer of security. For HTTPS connections, NVR Viewer uses Trust On First Use (TOFU) with certificate pinning during the initial connection, improving protection against man-in-the-middle attacks.
A detailed user guide provides help with adding devices and more.
If you're looking for a lightweight tool for viewing only, without the extra services and features manufacturers usually include, NVR Viewer stands out as a viable alternative, providing you with a dependable, efficient way to monitor security cameras in real time.
