Perfect Heist is a game under development where you play either cops or robbers to execute or prevent the perfect bank heist against other players.

As mentioned, the game is currently under development. When completed, the dev hopes to sell it for four bucks or so. It's quite apparent by playing that it's not finished, but what an excellent start for an indie game. You can see that the work has gone more into the gameplay less into the graphics currently. The game is portable, so no installation is needed.

You can run, jump, crouch, and open doors. Pick up and drop guns, bombs, shoot, hack or repair cameras, shoot out windows, change clothes, and more. Other areas of the game are also well thought out. Changing your clothes allows you to hide behind and blend in as an NPC. Six different classes are available, each with different strengths and weaknesses. You start in third-person mode, but first-person is available.

Currently, the download is for 64-bit systems. However, there's a launcher (launcher.zip) included in the archive to download and update to the latest versions.

So far, Perfect Heist could shape up to be an excellent, even commercial product. As dev builds go, this one has the most potential we've seen in an indie game in some time. Note that the download is a launcher that will download an additional 400MB or more. Our wishlist includes the ability to play against bots which we are told is in progress.

Perfect Heist reminds us a little of the original SWAT series from Sierra. While a little rough around the edges currently, it's one of the most anticipated indie games we've played in some time.
