recALL attempts to find any keys or license numbers on your computer.

recALL allows quick recovery of passwords from more than 300 programs and license keys from nearly 2,800 applications. recALL is the world's first program that allows you to recover most of the password and also a license from damaged operating systems through native support of the Windows files system registry.

It seems slow, but it’s actually doing an in-depth scan. Like all programs that attempt to look for license numbers (and most of the Covert Ops section on MajorGeeks) your anti-virus might not like it. We have not seen a new password or license retrieval program in a while, so this newer program might just be what you’re looking for.

Due to the unique function emulation FTP, POP3 and SMTP can recover passwords from any application supporting these protocols, even if the program is not yet supported in recALL.
