Do not begin with your entire Downloads folder unless you enjoy chaos.Start by adding a project folder or a collection of files you need to sort. There’s a bitof a learning curve here, so let the process work.

Once Sorana scans the files, review the visual groups it creates. The AI can help identify relationships between documents, but you should still manually move things around when needed. That is one of the better parts of the app; it does not lock you into whatever the AI decides.

For document-heavy work, try dropping in a few PDFs and using the chat features to ask direct questions. For example, you could ask it to summarize a technical manual, find references to a specific feature, or pull out key points from a batch of research documents.

Power users, researchers, developers, and AI tinkerers are the ones most likely to appreciate what Sorana is trying to do. But we need to underscore "trying" here. The app has some big potential, but it's early and and the interface is slow especially with its included models. But, if you need data organization and want to spend the time. this one has potential.
