Streams Remover is a portable app designed to remove Zone.Identifier ADS from downloaded Windows files.

The Attachment Manager is included in Windows to help protect your PC from unsafe attachments that you might receive with an e-mail message and from unsafe files that you might save from the Internet. Files downloaded from the internet on a disk formatted with NTFS, are marked with the Zone identifier.

During a quick setup, you can apply "Remove Streams," or anything you want to call it, to the Context Menu. Optionally, you can choose to have the shift key display Context Menu. You can also install, or uninstall, although that only applies to Context Menu settings.

From the Menu, you can manually select to remove streams from files or folders, disable zone information, disable SmartScreen, and access Command Line information.

Streams Remover is a handy app for those who find that email attachments or downloads are being blocked when you know they're safe. Because of this, Streams Remover is best used by advanced users.
