Super Shooter Box is an indie developed, portable game that reminds us of Asteroids on steroids.

Getting started is simple by selecting from the Easy, Normal or Hard mode. Sometimes this is done poorly, but the difference between the three modes is noticeable.

Fly around using the arrow keys to fight off the enemies and use your mouse to fire. Shoot the crates for points or to get new weapons. If there's a downside, it's that rotating is very slow as opposed to Androids where you can rotate quickly. The slow rotation takes some getting used to so we found playing in the Easy mode the best way to get used to that.

Super Shooter Box is as well put together as any retro arcade game. The graphics, music, and gameplay are fun.
