Thumbnail Cache Reset is a quick and easy utility that permits you to clear the Windows thumbnail cache with minimal steps.

When you run the program it quickly searches thumbcache_*.db files located in %USERPROFILE%AppDataLocalMicrosoftWindowsExplorer and will automatically delete them. By doing this it ensures that all thumbnail cache files are removed and the thumbnail cache is reset.

Thumbnail Cache Reset will also automatically terminate Explorer.exe before deleting the thumbcache_*.db files and it restarts Explorer.exe promptly when done. It is recommended that you reboot your system in order for the changes to take effect.
