Tweak UIX is a replica application of the TweakUI app featuring the classic look and feel while optionally incorporating our MajorGeeks Windows Tweaks. Video tutorial available.

Tweak UI was part of Windows XP PowerToys and one of the most known Windows PowerToys to tweak the User Interface (UI). With this freeware, portable app, you can change settings that aren't reachable within Windows.

TweakUIX is full of customization features and options to remove unnecessary fat from Windows or install software packages. Tweak UIX's user interface is based on the classic Tweak UI app. So do not expect a modern, fluent Mica, UWP, etc., as Tweak UIX is meant to be simple, small in size, modular, and entirely usable for every user.

Tweak UIX does a perfect job of recreating TweakUI while bringing it up to date and improving on it. The option to add additional plugins makes this a perfect freeware app for new or advanced users.

To install MajorGeeks Windows Tweaks as a plugin, download it here, then extract the files to the apps > plugins folder.

Google Chrome may block the download while other browsers, including Microsoft Edge, do not. Virustotal only has one flag.
