VCL Sudoku is a favorite Japanese logic game based on the placement of numbers.

The goal of VCL Sudoku is to fill a 9x9 grid with numbers so that each row, column, and 3x3 section contain all of the digits between 1 and 9. You can also choose the difficulty level.

Similar to other VCL Examples games, this one is designed to practice and get better at the game. It requires installation, and no portable version is available.

A help file is available that explains the basics of the game, but there's no tutorial. You can start a new game, save, load, get a hint, solve, and even select from three levels of difficulty. All of these features have keyboard shortcuts as well. We don't play Sudoku ourselves, there's no blood or guns, and we didn't notice what the hints did.

VCL Sudoku is a tiny download, free, and is presented with a simple black, white and gray interface. It's not the first Sudoku game to start with, but established players should enjoy practicing their Sudoku skills.
