Xreveal can be used in conjunction with a decryption key database that can detect and remove CD/DVD/BD/UHD protections.

Xreveal is a research project with an interoperability purpose; it does not contain any decryption key/BD+ conversion tables (FUT) and is based only on the official public AACS specification. Xreveal requires AACS decryption keys/BD+ FUTs to make it work. But once you have the needed keys, etc., you will be able to remove protections through a straightforward interface. Such software has many uses, like the ability to back up CD content before it's lost forever. That scenario will rely on your ability to remove the protection.

Xreveal can be a valuable asset for users needing to remove protections for legal purposes only.
