2 men arrested for theft, one wearing a Cookie Monster onesie (Mugshots)

2 men in Friendswood, TX., were arrested after police discovered the pair driving a trailer that contained stolen construction site equipment. The items, which included pieces of rebar and some hurricane fencing were reported stolen by an eyewitness to the theft.
According to ABC13, the witness reported to police that two men were stealing from a construction site in the 1100 block of W. Edgewood. The witness then followed the vehicle as the suspects headed toward Highway 35, when they were stopped by Friendswood police.
The police arrested Dean Allen Stevens, 23, and Matthew Dwayne Coleman, 30, both of Friendswood, and charged them with theft. Stevens has two prior convictions for theft, so his bond was set at $30,000. Coleman, who was wearing a Cookie Monster onesie at the time of his arrest, was given a $1,500 bond.
