Alternate Chord Helps Familiarize Your Fingers to Scales, Chords

Posted by: Jon Ben-Mayor on 02/01/2016 03:30 AM [ comments Comments ]

Alternate Chord allows you to exercise your fingers as well as learning basic guitar chords and scales along with a handy playback option. When learning to play guitar or bass one of the biggest obstacles is finger memory, this type of memory is only accomplished by repetition. Alternate Chord will help you jump this hurdle if you are a beginner as well as reacquaint a rusty player with those skills.

The program comes equipped with a set of chords and scales, but you can also extend them with your own custom notes. To use the chords that are provided, simply select one of the base note buttons (or all for all base notes) and navigate through the amount of available chords/scales.

You also have many choices in output instruments to choose from, this allows you to choose the specific instrument that you are actually practicing with - this will make the process more familiar - learning on bass? Choose the bass guitar output, etc.

All chords/tones can be played using the MIDI interface.

Alternate Chord can prove to be very useful to beginners trying to get a grasp on finger placement as well as for established players that may be just a bit rusty and in need of a refresher, this combined with easy to read chord charts allows you to get the total package while learning to play.
