Angry Birds 2: The Birds May Have Had Their Day

Posted by: Jon Ben-Mayor on 08/04/2015 03:53 AM [ comments Comments ]

Tim is an avid gamer and he took on playing Angry Birds 2 for 122.5 hours straight, just kidding, but he he did play it long enough to offer the following review of the follow up to that ever-addicting Angry Birds game.

Angry Birds 2 is the sequel to the wildly popular Angry Birds so naturally I was looking forward to playing it. Early on, it plays just like the original. To me, it seems like it is just new levels but I am sure there is more as you progress, right? I wouldn’t know because I quit at about 20 levels. Like many games you now only get 5 lives. In Angry Birds 2 the problem is that many levels have 2 or 3 stages to clear. So, how does one clear all 3 stages using the Birds properly when you can’t see what the next stage, or stages, entails? So after finding myself wasting lives just to find out the right combination of Birds, I called it quits. I’d like to tell you that Angry Bird fans will love it, and I bet many will, but the rest of us find the multi-level layouts and limited lives too frustrating to be bothered – again. I think the Birds have had their day.
