Anonymous Takes Aim at Denver Mayor (Video)

The hacking group, Anonymous, is taking aim at Denvers Mayor for not protecting the city’s homeless.

The hackers are requesting that Denver Mayor Michael Hancock needs to stop the city wide sweep so as not to put the lives of Denvers homeless in jeopardy. The sweeps are taking down the sheds and shelters that the homeless are using for refuge. He has also made it illegal to erect camping sites throughout the city.

The hackers are resurfacing an incident from 2011 when the mayors name showed up in a black book from a known prostitution ring. It was never proven, but the group argues that the mayor pulled strings to keep it under wraps.

The hacking group says: "We are now asking for you to restore the rights of the homeless, nay, demanding, and resign as an elected official. You have failed to protect those in vulnerable living conditions, you have failed your civic and moral duties as a public official, and you have failed those you purport to govern in your continual lapse of honesty."
