Did you get a text message telling you your Apple ID is about to expire and that you need to enter your credentials in order to avoid the termination?
If so, know it is a scam. The text may even use your name and ask you to confirm at what looks like a legit Apple website.
However, Apple warns users about these types of scams on their website in case one were to show up:
“As a general rule, never send credit card information, account passwords, or extensive personal information in an email unless you verify that the recipient is who they claim to be. Many companies have policies that state they will never solicit such information from customers by email.”
And be aware that your Apple ID never expires.
