Cop on vacation takes down violent traveler at Honolulu airport

Justin Rogers a East Bay, CA police officer was at the Honolulu, HI, airport preparing to pass through the TSA screening checkpoint on his way back to the mainland when he heard a loud crash.

WPTV.com quotes Rodgers as saying: "When I turned around, I saw a woman with her arms flailing, screaming at this TSA agent." He turned back around, thinking security officers would handle the ruckus.



As the video shows none of the TSA agents immediately came to the rescue of the fellow agent. Rogers sprang into action by leaping over a waist high barrier and subdued the unruly woman just as the altercation started to get intense.

WPTV reports that the TSA and the agent involved both have issued thanks to Mr. Rogers for his help in the matter.

It just goes to show that there is no such thing as an off-duty cop!
