Copy File Name Allows Simple File Name Copying and More

Copy File Name is a simple app that will permit you to right-click a file name directly to your clipboard for fast use in other locations.

This little program made a lot of sense after the 50th update one morning; updating files here at MajorGeeks entails some file path highlighting, copying, and pasting of those file names/paths into their appropriate locations. It isn't a complicated process but why not cut a step or out to save time? Copy File Name takes care of that. It allows you to copy the name of a selected file to the clipboard. Before the name is copied, you will see a list of different representations of the file name. The choices are Full Path, File Name, Base Name, Short Path, URL, UNC (required syntax for WebDAV), and UNC URL if available.

Copy File Name adds an entry to your right-click context menu and provides you with the ability to display the names in two modes by accessing Syntax from the menu bar of the app. By default, it is set to Normal, but you also have C++ and C# to choose from as well depending on your intended use.
