CryptoLocker and CryptoWall Available for $3,000

Posted by: Timothy Weaver on 11/17/2015 05:11 AM [ comments Comments ]

CrytoLocker and CryptoWall are being sold for $3,000 on the dark web.

For $3,000 worth of bitcoins, you get the source code, along with the manual and free support.

If that is too steep, you can buy 8 binaries for $400. The sellers are also offering an affiliation whereby the customer and the developers share the profits 50/50%.

“This is your chance to become a partner and join or buy build individual to you and use and to generate income and to convert and monetization,” reads the post. “If you are interested then contact i need a partnership and also i selling build to you.”

For those interested in the full package, the developers are also offering full support, additional modules or customization, such as preferred language interfaces for the access panel or custom deployments on VPS servers.

According to a Pastebin post, the initial investment, in the right hands, could result in a return of profit that could be stellar.

This is proof that you don’t need the technical know-how to start developing your own custom malware – all you need is an initial investment and the underground black-market will fill in the distribution and management gaps.
