Disk Drill recovers lost documents and much more

Whether you need to recover lost documents, videos, music or photos, we have you covered with Disk Drill for Windows.

There are only a few really good choices in free data recovery nowadays so I was skeptical when this one came into MajorGeeks. Disk Drill comes from an established Mac app so I was also curious. My testing in VMWare came up with quite a few files and recovered them easily. Scan time was reasonable as well.

The only thing this program lacks is a portable version because, as you might be aware, installing a program on your hard drive could potentially delete the files you need to recover by overwriting them when you install anything. All in all, if other programs have failed you, Disk Drill might just be what you’re looking for.
