FBI Background Report on Steve Jobs From 1991

Contributed by: Email on 02/10/2012 03:38 AM [ comments Comments ]

Our buddies at HardOCP noted that the FBI report done on Steve Jobs back in 1991 has been released. It was supposed to be a federal background check but HardOCP says it reads more like some sort of high school drama. As far as I can tell it is mainly interviews with people who knew Jobs. A lot of things in here you will recognize if you read his autobiography but for the most part all I can picture is a lot of guys in unmarked police cars, wearing black suits and fedoras asking questions of his colleagues over a couple of weeks. Honestly I donÂ’t even know why I wrote this much but since I came this far I might as well finish. ItÂ’s pretty boring to read but if you donÂ’t have a date tonight it can be viewed at http://vault.fbi.gov/steve-jobs/steve-jobs-part-01-of-01/view .

The comments at HardOCP are more fun than reading the actual documents. The readers there noticed that it is all in Flash, canÂ’t be read on an iPhone and that someone in the marketing field has questionable integrity. That about sums this up.
