An active GPS tracker hidden in a packet of money taken from a bank robbery led deputies to a black Hyundai SUV in Lee County, Florida this past Wednesday. After reading the rest of this report, however, one can safely assume this arrest was only a matter of time.
When the vehicle's passengers were removed, the deputies spotted lots of cash on the dashboard. Also, clothing matching the bank robbery suspect's description, a grey plastic bag full of cash and a black ski mask were also found on the SUV's floor.
Two people were taken in for questioning but one man, only identified himself as "Dra," lied about his name and age and was also taken into custody.
While he was at the sheriff's office, the man asked to use the bathroom. The suspect emerged from the bathroom covered in fecal matter, threw feces on the walls and ground and at officers and then tried hitting officers.
After he had been restrained, the man continued to resist.
He was identified as Dravion Vonkeith Hampleton, 25, and was charged with armed robbery, two counts of battery on a law enforcement officer, and one count of resisting arrest violence.

As the Sun-Sentinel observed "Maybe "Dra" is also short for drama."
Well played.
