Florida Friday: Credit card thief happily poses for picture

Posted by: Jon Ben-Mayor on 08/08/2014 03:35 AM [ comments Comments ]

An unidentified woman posed for a picture after she was unable to provide picture ID for a $400 beauty supply purchase. The quick thinking clerk asked the credit smiley card thief if she would pose for a picture, which she joyfully did - the picture is now being circulated among law enforcement in Ocala, FL., to aid in the apprehension of the woman.

"I thought that would scare her into saying I don't want this anymore, but she smiled for it," the clerk tells WKMG.

Police say they've gotten several tips since releasing the photo to the public, but haven't made an arrest yet. The card actually belongs to an elderly woman who says it was stolen while she was shopping at Walmart.

I am sure her up and coming mugshot will be less joyous
