Yes, there is a bill for the 'zombie apocalypse' and naturally it is in the sunshine state; the bill, SB 296, was introduced last fall by State Sen. Jeff Brandes (R) and it actually relates to carrying a concealed weapon or firearm during a mandatory evacuation while under a declared state of emergency.
According to MyNews13, the bill would eliminate criminal prosecution for anybody carrying concealed firearms under those conditions, essentially bypassing any licensing requirement of the person carrying the concealed firearm.

State Sen. Dwight Bullard (D) filed an amendment to Senate Bill 296 that would change the title of the amendment to "An act relating to the zombie apocalypse."
Other than Bullard's amendment, there is no mention of zombies within the bill.
How else are you going to shoot the brain-bucket of a zombie if you are not able to carry a gun? Clearly a no brainer!
