Florida Friday: Homeless Man Rescued From Garbage Truck (Video)

Firefighters rescued a man who was trapped inside of a garbage truck in Tampa this past week.

The driver heard screams and realized they were coming from his truck. Sometime during his route, a homeless man was sleeping in a dumpster that he was assigned to pick up.

News Channel 8 reports that the Tampa Police Department and Fire Rescue crews used heavy equipment to pull the man from the garbage truck. He was being evaluated but it appears he will be OK.
