HideNow Is a Motion Sensitive Surveillance Utility

Posted by: Jon Ben-Mayor on 06/11/2017 01:08 PM [ comments Comments ]

HideNow allows your webcam to be utilized as a motion detector that once triggered can immediately perform specified actions.

This is a straight-to-the-point utility; you select the desired action type from the drop down window like hiding a window or closing an application if your webcam detects any type of movement. The sensitivity of detection can not be adjusted through the program but if you have a decent webcam that should suffice.

HideNow can be a useful tool at work or at home by limiting the content that someone can see on your PC like the employee evaluation you are working on or any other sensitive document that requires confidentiality. HideNow will not only close specific windows or apps but can also open them as well.

There is one thing that could make this app a bit more versatile; an option to save a specific action profile so that it can be quickly launched without the need to reset action types every use.
